Local information

Close to the General Hospital, just off the Wellingborough Road so a popular area with nursing and paramedic students. About 30 minutes walk from Waterside Campus or a 7 minute cycle. Alternatively main bus routes are available at the end of the main road 150 meters away. There are numerous pubs nearby such as the Abington Park Hotel and at least 10 others within 10 minutes walk. Adnitt Food News and Wine is across the Road. A large Coop is available on the main Wellingborough Road along with a Tesco Express and Sainsburys. Rock Bottom Discount for cheap essentials 200m away. There are also Indian, Chinese, Thai Greek and  Italian restaurants and takeaways available, along with most major banks with cash machines. There are chemists, designer clothes and numerous other shops available. Within easy walking distance of the town centre, with Sol Central Cinema, nightclubs and Bridge Street. Abington Park is at the end of the Road with
its museum. Northants County Cricket Club opposite the house. This has always been an extremely popular student area.

Getting there

Waterside campus is a 3 minute walk to bus stop then Uno bus 17 direct to Waterside, Zone 2 £1 or walk 2 minutes further into town and it’s zone 1 50p. 30 minute walk.

Me and my friends spent our final year at University in a student accommodation provided by this amazing team. It was one of the best experiences we have had during our course in terms of accommodation. The house was in good condition and we were lucky to receive new furniture. But the most amazing part was how supportive and caring the team was with us. They had impeccable communication and solved every problem (very few and minor). They also did work around and in the house to make our stay even more comfortable without us requesting it specifically. They also really supported me and another housemate when we were looking for an urgent solution for our next accommodation. All in all, the team was absolutely fantastic and it really made our last year memorable. Thank you for everything!
