Opposite to the General Hospital, just off the Wellingborough Road so a popular area with nursing and paramedic students and about as close as you can be to Waterside Campus. 11 minutes walk walk to Waterside Campus, or on the bus route. There are numerous pubs nearby such as the Charles Bradlaugh and at least 10 others within 10 minutes walk. A Tesco Express, a Costcutter, Sainsburys and Co-op all nearby. The Wellingborough Road has Pizza, Kebab, Indian, Chinese, Thai, Greek and Italian restaurants and takeaways available, along with most major banks with cash machines. There are chemists, designer clothes and numerous other shops available. Within easy walking distance of the town centre, with Sol Central Cinema, nightclubs and Bridge Street. Mounts gym and swimming pool is a short walkaway. A well established student area with everything you could need close at hand.

Getting there

Waterside campus is a 5 minute walk to Abington Square then catch the number 20 Bus Its Zone 1 and it's 50p or it's a 15 minute walk.

I rented with Dawson Properties as a student for 2 years and can honestly say it was a breeze. If there were any problems, you knew you could rely on a fast response from email. Rawdon, Kai and Richard are always so polite and happy whenever you saw them which made them so approachable if there was ever a problem. They constantly did regular checks on the house (ie, checking the drains) and always wanted to help where possible, even changing the sofas at the property I was at. Would definitely recommend as they are probably the most reliable landlords in Northampton with modern, up to date housing with good conditions for student living.
